The data currently held by Get Cycling Inclusive Bike Shop has been gathered from multiple avenues, including from:

- Direct Interactions – such as in person, email, phone, social media

- Inter-departmental Transfer – i.e. data which has been gathered and then transferred to us by our Get Cycling Events team

- All staff within Get Cycling CIC are CRB checked and are vetted with references

- No transient or casual staff have access to the data of contacts

- No personal information will be shared with external third parties unless we have explicit consent to do this

- Unless contacts request otherwise, Get Cycling Inclusive Bike Shop will retain contact data for as long as the information is deemed essential, potentially useful or potentially relevant and in accordance with record keeping legal obligations such as tax regulations.

 

Marketing Communications

Get Cycling regard it as an important part of their role as a charity to keep in touch with clients. Each client will therefore be asked to give permission for us to send occasional non-transactional emails.

We encourage all contacts to opt-in to receive communications from Get Cycling.  If you do opt-in to receive future email communications from Get Cycling, at any time you can unsubscribe at any time.
